There comes a time in life when many people believe their years of learning are behind them. I once thought the same.
After a career in accountancy, years of walking beside a forester, raising a family, and learning from nature, I never imagined I would become a student again.
But God placed a new desire in my heart. He simply said, "Learn."
So I obeyed.
Learning in a New World
Before returning to formal study, God had already begun preparing me in unexpected ways. Through SFI Marketing Group, I was introduced to the world of online business and digital entrepreneurship.
I learned that the internet was more than a place to buy and sell products — it was a place where people from different countries could learn from one another, build friendships, and encourage each other.
For someone who had spent years working with financial statements and later walking through forests, this was an entirely new world.
SFI taught me how to communicate online, share ideas, and appreciate the value of connecting people through technology. It gave me the confidence to believe that even in retirement, I could continue learning new skills.
Back to School
That experience eventually encouraged me to continue my education.
On July 23, 2026, I graduated from Accredi-Pro University
with Distinction and the academic honor of Cum Laude.
To many people, it may simply be a certificate. To me, it represents something much greater. It is a reminder that it is never too late to learn, to grow, and to pursue excellence for the glory of God.
Every Season Prepared Me
- Accountancy taught me discipline.
- The forest taught me wisdom.
- Grief taught me faith.
- SFI taught me to connect with people through technology.
- Continued education strengthened my confidence to keep learning.
- Nature continues to teach me patience every day.
The Journey Continues
Today, I continue this journey as The CPA Herbalist — sharing what I learn, one story, one herb, and one lesson at a time.
If my journey encourages even one person to believe that age is never a barrier to learning, then this new chapter has already fulfilled its purpose.
Because learning does not end with retirement. Sometimes, it is only the beginning.
