Final Season
Season 9 of 9 - The Final Season
From Timber to a Lifelong Student
Learning Never Ends
In time, our family's private forest became my greatest classroom.
The question I once asked changed completely. Instead of asking, "What can I take from the forest?" I found myself asking, "Lord, what are You teaching me here?"
That simple question changed the direction of my life.
The forest taught me to observe before making conclusions. It taught me patience, stewardship, and respect for God's creation. Every tree, every seedling, and every medicinal plant became another lesson waiting to be understood.
Learning Beyond the Forest
As my curiosity grew, I realized that learning should never stop. After retiring from the accountancy profession, I continued learning through online education and business communities.
My years with SFI Marketing Group introduced me to online entrepreneurship, affiliate marketing, website creation, blogging, and the joy of connecting with people around the world.
Those experiences reminded me that learning is not limited by age, location, or profession. There is always another skill to develop and another opportunity to grow.
Formal Studies and New Commitment
Wanting to deepen my understanding of herbal medicine, I enrolled in formal studies in herbalism at Accredi-Pro University.
On July 23, 2026, I graduated with Distinction
and received the academic honor of Cum Laude.
Receiving those honors was more than an academic achievement. It confirmed that the discipline I had practiced as a Certified Public Accountant could also be applied to the careful study of medicinal plants.
It strengthened my commitment to approach herbalism with humility, respect for scientific evidence, appreciation for traditional knowledge, and gratitude to God, who created the plants that continue to benefit humanity.
Still a Student
Although my studies qualify me as a Herbalist Practitioner, I continue to think of myself first as a lifelong student. Herbal medicine is a field that requires continual learning, careful observation, and responsible practice.
Every season brings new lessons, and every plant reminds me that wisdom grows slowly.
Today, I continue learning from Scripture, scientific research, traditional knowledge, experienced practitioners, and the natural world that God has entrusted to our care.
"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands." — Psalm 19:1
The Journey Continues
My journey is still unfolding. I do not expect to know everything. Instead, I hope to keep learning, keep growing, and keep sharing what I learn with honesty, humility, and gratitude.
One lesson. One herb. One story at a time.
